Destination
Saona Island
Discover the largest offshore island in the Dominican Republic. Natural pools with starfish, miles of palm-lined beaches, and an unforgettable full-day yacht charter experience.
The Ultimate Dominican Island Experience
Saona Island (Isla Saona) is the crown jewel of the Dominican Republic's East National Park. As the country's largest offshore island, Saona offers an experience unlike any other destination in the Caribbean -- natural pools filled with starfish, endless stretches of palm-fringed beaches, and some of the most beautiful turquoise water you will ever see.
The journey to Saona from Casa de Campo Marina is an adventure in itself. As your motor yacht cruises along the coastline, you will pass dramatic cliffs, secluded coves, and pristine shoreline before arriving at this island paradise. The famous natural pools -- shallow areas where you can wade waist-deep among starfish -- are a highlight that draws visitors from around the world.
Saona is exclusively a full-day destination due to the distance involved. This gives you ample time to explore the natural pools, relax on the beaches, snorkel the reef systems, and enjoy a proper island day with your group. It is an experience that consistently tops lists of the best things to do in the Dominican Republic.
Important: Motor Yachts Only
Due to the distance and open water crossing, sailboats do not travel to Saona Island. We recommend motor yachts 40ft and above for a comfortable journey. Catamarans are also suitable for this trip. This is a full-day charter only.
